FAQ

What are your registration details?

Ofsted is our governing body, and our registration number is EY332671. 

What age ranges do you cover? 

Our nursery accepts children aged 1.5 to 4 years old.

What are your opening hours?

We are open from 9 am to 4 pm. The nursery operates on a term-time basis. 

Can my child stay for half a day only? 

Yes. We offer morning sessions from 9 am to 12 pm. 

Will my child be able to have daytime sleep? 

Yes. We have a designated sleep room. Children who do not sleep will be provided with other quiet, restful activities. 

Can my child come to the nursery for just one day a week?

No. We request a minimum of 2 days per week. This is because children find it easier to settle in and benefit from nursery if they attend regularly.

What do I need to provide for my child’s day at nursery?

You need to provide spare clothes, indoor shoes, wipes, pampers for morning sessions and snacks, a sheet, a pillow, light blanket if you stay in the afternoon. 

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

We accept all forms of vouchers, but we may need to register with new ones. You may need some information from us to set these up, such as Ofsted registration numbers. 

Do you accept funding?
We accept funding (Universal Credit) for two- and three-year-olds upon proof of eligibility for two-year-olds. Three-year-olds automatically qualify for funding. We'll provide a form for completion.

What meals do you offer? 

We offer breakfast if your child attends breakfast club, lunch and snacks. Children also have access to water and milk throughout the day. 

Where do your meals come from?

Our lunch comes from a reliable supplier, who provides lunches to several local schools and has a good reputation and years of experience working with nurseries and schools.

Do you cater for allergies?

Yes. We cater for allergies, intolerances and preferences (cultural and non-cultural). Our nursery manager and chef will ensure that your child has a healthy and balanced diet, meeting their individual needs.

Do you offer a tour of the nursery? 

Yes, our nursery manager will be delighted to take you on a tour of the nursery. Please send an email to clubs@lpebl.com to find out more and book your visit. 

What qualifications do your staff have?

From highly qualified Level 6 childcare practitioners to talented apprentices, our staff team are a diverse and dedicated group. 

Are all staff DBS checked? 

Yes, all members of staff full-time, part-time, volunteers, and students hold a current DBS check that is carried out prior to the member of staff starting with us. 

How do I pay for childcare?

You can pay for your childcare in many ways, including cash, BACS, and vouchers. We invoice you at the beginning of each term.  Funding for those eligible (2 years old and 3+ years old) will be taken off within the invoice so you can see how this works. 

What do I need to do if I want to withdraw my child from nursery?

You need to let us know at least 1 term (90 days) in advance.
